My Daybook for...
Monday February 1st, 2010...
Here in Kentucky...

Outside my window
...the woods are all brown with a little leftover snow sprinkled in here and there, but the sun is shining and it's not terribly cold.

I am thinking...about the urgency I've felt lately to stock up and be prepared, not sure if it's from thinking of the folks in Haiti or not but it's something I've been working on.

I am thankful for...having my sweet little parents back home, they were gone for a month and we missed them like crazy!  I love when the phone rings and the caller ID says it's their number, reminds me that they're home again!

I am remembering...talking to my Tommy on the phone this weekend, his voice is music to this mommy's ears!!!

I am currently reading...The Bouncing Grandma series by AK Arenz, so far it's very good, should get very interesting according to the synopsis, I'm on the second and last book and it's very good.  They are just lighthearted enough for me right now, I seem to be at a point where I don't want to delve into some heavy reading...although I have a Terri Blackstock book from the library I might go ahead and read, love her books but they're pretty heavy stuff!

I am finish getting things in order, we've worked on it but still lots to be done.  I can't believe how behind we are because of being ill, etc.

On my mind...waking up with a headache this morning and feeling so miserable.  I wanted so bad to get going on my to do list but felt to bad to do anything.  After a little pampering from Christopher and Katie and some Advil I'm feeling 100%!!!! Yea!  Headaches are the worst thing I suffer with, simply hate them.

Noticing that...the outreach to Haiti has just been wonderful to see, we have many problems in our world with lots of hatred and fighting and it's just a wonderful things to see many, many folks coming together for the cause of helping those that are suffering.

Pondering these words...
completely takes away all care for tomorrow.
Only today is yours; tomorrow is the Father's.
Manna, as your food and strength, is given only
by the day; to faithfully fill the  present is your
only security for the future. His presence and
grace enjoyed today will remove all doubt
as to whether you can entrust tomorrow
to Him, too. Each new morning, He meets
you with the promises of sufficient manna
for the day."
-Andrew Murray
How true is that!?  I borrowed this from my dear friend Sandy's blog at:
She has some incredible posts, very inspiring.  Her love for our Lord just shines through!

From the kitchen...Pork chops, stuffing, veggies and applesauce

Around the house...lot's of busyness, I really should be getting my things done but wanted to take the time to do my daybook, I so enjoy posting this each  Monday and reading the other daybooks, very inspiring!

One of my favorite things...having a headache go away!  We just don't realize how wonderful it is to feel good until we feel bad!  I'm so thankful for feeling great right now!!!

From my picture journal...
nothing for today :O)
